Shari's To Convert to Trans Fat Free Oil
(Beaverton, Oregon - 3/12/07) -- Shari's Restaurants, the Northwest based chain of 24-hour family dining restaurants, have begun conversion of all cooking and deep-fryer
oils to a trans-fat free product.
"Replacing trans fat oil with healthier oils is the right thing to do," said Kevin Bechtel, Shari's Senior Vice President of Menu Development. "This is a practical solution
that will have a positive health impact on our guests, while allowing Shari's to provide the quality and flavor-filled products our guests know and love."
This conversion will be completed in all 98 Shari's locations by April 1, 2007.
