Shari’s Café & Pies presented Bobbi Hite, Principal of Crestline Elementary School with a check of $5,066 as a fundraiser to help the rebuilding process for the school, which was struck by a fire on February 3rd.
Shari’s held a fundraiser in its four Vancouver Area restaurants in the month of February, in which they donated $1 from every whole pie sold. The result was over $5,000 raised for the school.
“Shari’s has always been a proud supporter of the schools in our communities”, said Kevin Bechtel, Sr. Vice President at Shari’s. “Many of our guests and employees were devastated by this tragic Fire. Donating a buck from every pie sold was our way of giving back to the schools”.
“We’re deeply grateful to all the community support from our friends at Shari’s Café & Pies”, said Bobbi Hite. “This check will contribute greatly to the rebuilding effort of the school”.
